How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2023 National Council of Churches in Australia Stakeholder Survey

The National Council of Churches in Australia (NCCA) has engaged in a process to seek to understand the landscape for Australia’s national churches and explore how we might live our desire to be better together.

Dear Friends of NCCA

NCCA is preparing for the 11th National Forum in Adelaide, 21-24 June 2024 that will also be a time to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Council’s formation.

We will be planning for the future of the Council and its direction into the future. This is an important task, and we seek input from all connected to the life of the NCCA.

As part of the overall process we have commissioned a survey to gather stakeholder input to help inform preparation for the upcoming NCCA Forum.

You are encouraged to participate in this important survey.

Responses to the survey will help inform and guide the processes of discernment and discussion in the Forum, as well as identify challenges and opportunities for the NCCA into the future.

The survey will be closed on 27 October 2023.
