How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The National Council of Churches in Australia (NCCA) is an ecumenical council of member Australian Christian Churches.

OUR VISION
The National Council of Churches in Australia (NCCA) is a communion of national churches sharing a common faith in Jesus Christ and together building a future of hope, justice and peace for all people in the land now called Australia.
Jesus prayed that we may all be one (John 20:17) with him and with God the Father so that the world may believe and know God’s love and peace for all people.
OUR MISSION
As Christian communities of Faith, Hope and Love, committed to following Christ and serving to the Glory of One God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit:
the NCCA brings churches together to engage with each other through prayer, deep listening, openness and respect, and acting for peace with justice.
