Is the Golden Rule still relevant for our times?
Ethics in Turbulent Times, will inform and inspire our thinking on some of the most challenging issues shaping our future.
It used to be said that the principle “treat others as you would like others to treat you” is the Golden Rule of life. Does it still apply? Does it set the standard for life at home, at work, in our schools and universities, in our social media, in business, or politics? Should it?
If not the Golden Rule, is there some other moral compass to guide the turbulent world of climate change, war, unregulated new technologies, rampant discrimination, and violent extremism?
Daunting questions no doubt, but worth reflecting on and discussing with friends, colleagues and others.
What: 6-week series, Six 3-hour sessions on 6 consecutive Tuesday evenings.
