The NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian presents five, 1 hour free webinars on “Developing a Child Safe Risk Management Plan”

Each session for the faith sector is for anyone in faith-based child-related work responsible for child safety.

THEORY

PRACTICAL

Before you register for these sessions, you must complete the Developing a Child Safe Risk Management Plan (Theory) session.

  • 10-11am Thursday 24th August 2023
• Faith sector – Developing a Child Safe Risk Management Plan (Practical)
  • working with children 5 to 12 years old
  • 10-11am Thursday 31st August 2023
• Faith sector – Developing a Child Safe Risk Management Plan (Practical)
  • working with children 12 to 17 years old
  • 10-11am Thursday 7th September 2023
• Faith sector – Developing a Child Safe Risk Management Plan (Practical)
  • working with children at camps, outings and special events
  • 10-11am Thursday 14th September 2023

ONLINE SAFETY

ThinkUKnow Australia is an education program led by the Australian Federal Police (AFP), delivered nationally in partnership with police and industry partners to prevent online child sexual exploitation.

The ThinkUKnow website has many resources for parents and carers to support them in their role in protecting children from harm. The resources are designed to assist with the prevention and management of safety challenges that a child may face and to empower the child with knowledge.
