How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Presenter Training

WESTERN AUSTRALIA

This full-day Presenter Training forms part of the process of becoming an endorsed Safe Church Awareness Workshop presenter with the National Council of Churches in Australia (NCCA) Safe Church Program.

This training workshop is being held in Perth and is focused on the state of Western Australia.

Presenter Training in other Australian states and territories will follow in the near future.

The training day covers:

  • who the NCCA is and why we run these workshops,
  • training and discussions around the presentation of each of the four sessions of the workshop including state-specific content,
  • running grooming awareness activity
  • adult learning styles,
  • ecumenism and it’s important role in these workshops,
  • presentation tips,
  • admin and logistics.

When: Tuesday 16 May 2023

Time: 9:30am – 4:00 pm AWST (UTC+08)

Where: Grace Methodist Church, 3 Woodthorpe Drive, Willetton WA

Lunch and morning tea will be provided.

You must have previously attended one of our Safe Church Awareness Workshops and have filled in a Presenter Application Form prior to attending.
