How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'” John 14:6

The Lenten season, known as ‘Great Lent,’ starts on March 3, 2025, for the Orthodox Christian Churches, while ‘Ash Wednesday’ falls on March 5 for the Western Churches. This year, Easter will be celebrated on the same date across all traditions.
