How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Lutheran and Uniting colleges present Festival of Learning

Adelaide-based colleges, Australian Lutheran College (ALC) and the Uniting College for Leadership and Theology (University of Divinity) worked ecumenically to deliver programs on the 2024 theme ‘Challenging Boundaries: Life at the edges’.

ALC’s annual Festival of Learning 

Over the three days from 20 to 22 February, 26 speakers gave presentations on a range of subjects, which included: ‘Navigating ministry in uncertain times’, ‘Shining a light on Domestic and Family Violence and religion in Australia’, ‘Life at the edges: loving one another when the other is very different’, ‘Ecumenism – reaching out together to a hurting world’, and ‘Ethical responsibility at the edges of death’.
