The countdown to the Federal Election is underway. Ahead of the 3 May 2025 polling date, our Churches and related Christian agencies have released statements that reflect our values as Christians, praying for a just, compassionate and inclusive Australia.
The prepared statements encourage congregations to engage prayerfully and faithfully with the issues that matter to our witness of Christ’s love in the world.

Prayer for the election
Grant, we pray, O Lord our God,
that as the Cross shines in our southern skies,
so may Christ bring light to our nation, to its peoples old and new,
and by saving grace, transform our lives.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
