How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

National Weekend of Prayer, Meditation and Reflection

8-10 September 2023

Christian and other faith communities will hold a weekend of prayer, reflection and meditation for unity, hope and respect in the lead-up to the Voice Referendum.

The Australian Churches Refugee Taskforce (ACRT) was pleased to hear the Australian Government’s announcement on 11 August that it will increase Australia’s annual humanitarian intake from 17,875 to 20,000 people.
