Gather with inter-faith leaders in prayer for Gaza

Gather with inter-faith leaders from different South East Queensland communities for an hour on Saturday 27 April at 6.45pm in Brisbane Square (at the top of Queen Street) to pray for the people of Gaza, especially for a permanent ceasefire and a just peace.

There will also be brief periods of silent reflection and music. In the hours leading up to the vigil from 3pm, community leaders will read the names of the more than 10,000 children who have died since October.

This is a vigil for those more comfortable with prayer or reflection rather than rallying/marching — please leave signage/banners at home (those who gather may sign the official "Praying for Gaza" banner). Please bring friends, colleagues and family members; a cushion; a glow stick or LED candle; and, open hearts.
