These checks are vital for all involved in ministry to children and the vulnerable. Each state and territory has different requirements and expectations relating to who requires one. These requirements and expectations change, so it is important to ensure that you are aware of the requirements for your church community.

YES - if you are in any leadership position, do any work or volunteering that comes into contact with children. Not only do you need a check, it needs to be current and valid.
