Australian Churches Refugee Taskforce

ACRTx150New Chair of ACRT Standing Committee

On Friday 30 November 2018 the Australian Churches Refugee Taskforce (ACRT) Standing Committee held their annual face to face meeting. The Very Reverend Dr Peter Catt stepped down from his role as Chair at this meeting and was thanked for his dedicated service in this role.

The ACRT thanked Dr Catt for his leadership and commitment over the years. He remains on the Taskforce to continue the important work of this group.

We welcome Mr Rob Floyd of the Uniting Church as the new chair. He brings to the Taskforce his extensive knowledge and passion for justice.

The ACRT also said goodbye to Sieneke Martin of the Quakers and thanked her for her involvement with the taskforce.
