About the role 

This role is a unique leadership opportunity. An opportunity to make a difference, to deepen connection between member churches, foster partnerships and growth.

Working with the Victorian Council of Churches (VCC) Standing Committee, the Executive Officer will implement the VCC Strategic Plan, champion change and strengthen the fellowship of churches.

With an in-depth understanding of the ecumenical movement and experienced leadership skills, this role will liaise with Christain faith communities, government agencies and the wider community to further the VCC’s mission and purpose.

This role will ensure budget and other administrative requirements are accurate and timely. The role will prepare and present reports and supervise support staff and volunteers, as required.

This is a full-time role, but part-time may be considered for the right applicant. Please specify your preference in your application.

About you (Key Selection Criteria)

To secure this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Theology or a related field
  • Ordained or lay person with demonstrated ministry background
  • Excellent administration and interpersonal skills
