New Child Safe Organisations Act — Queensland
Queensland's Child Safe Organisations Act 2024 introduces 10 Child Safe Standards, a Universal Principle, and a nationally consistent Reportable Conduct Scheme.
Religious bodies are in-scope entities and are expected to be implementing the Standards by April 2026, with full implementation and reporting by July 2027.
