Interfaith service for nuclear disarmament
The Uniting Church in Australia (UCA) are jointly hosting an interfaith service of prayer with the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN).
Approaching the 75 anniversary of the dropping on bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the UCA are co-hosting an interfaith service for nuclear disarmament. The service will include prayers from the Hindu Council of Australia, the Australian Baháʼí Community, the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney, the Buddhist Council of NSW and the Executive Council of Australian Jewry. There will also be updates from Pacific Conference of Churches and ICAN.
When: Thursday 6th August at 6-6:45pm AEST via Zoom

Commemorate the 75th anniversary of the nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and honouring the survivors with action for the nuclear ban treaty.
Its online (Zoom) and therefore easy to join in. It is open to anyone anywhere!
