Eid-al-adha

The Feast of Sacrifice

Our prayers are with our Muslim friends as they complete their celebrations today, Friday 23 July. Eid-al-adha, which began on Monday 19 July, honours Ibrahim's obedience to God's command in his willingness to sacrifice his son Isaac.

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. James 3:17-18 ESV
