The Australian Catholic Social Justice Council (ACSJC) have released A Pastoral Letter for the Feast of St Joseph the Worker titled A Fair Day's Pay - For the dignity of workers and the good of all. The Pastoral Letter is available online from the ACSJC.

The impact of wage stagnation on most families is discussed in the letter. Highlighting the inability of many families to balance household budgets where wages are barely keeping up with the costs of living or falling behind.
