Tonga Emergency Appeal 

Cyclone Gita has devastated communities across Tonga. A state of emergency has been declared across the Island nation 

The level of damage to crops, homes, vegetation and infrastructure is extremely high following the cyclone.

Act for Peace are working with our partners on the ground to assess the full extent of the damage. Already about 3,000 people are in evacuation centres and the number needing urgent assistance is expected to increase dramatically over the coming days.
