Armenians fleeing war find open doors as churches offer shelter and hope
"On November 9 we received an instruction that we had to leave our homes because the enemy was close, and it was not possible to stop them," said Gevorg Gevorgyan, who spoke with his family around him in a Zoom call.

Armenians are thankful to churches and all those offering them shelter. Their homes having been destroyed by bombing or occupied by others in a six-week war with Azerbaijan last year.
Families were forced to flee Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) in September 2020.

WCC invites youth to Stewards Programme for 11th Assembly in 2022

The World Council of Churches (WCC) invites ecumenical youth to be stewards at the 11th Assembly in Karlsruhe, Germany, from 21 August to 10 September 2022.
The invitation is open to young people, between the ages 18 and 30 years old. from a variety of backgrounds, churches and regions.
