PhD thesis on the study of the Coptic school community awarded to Coptic Father
NCCA congratulates The Very Rev Fr Dr Shenouda Mansour on being awarded the honour of Doctor of Philospphy.
We rejoice with the Coptic Church and its extended community at this very memorable achievement.
Representatives of both the Melbourne and Sydney dioceses of the Coptic Church were on hand to witness the graduation ceremony which took place on 24 April 2018. HE Ambassador of Egypt and the Egyptian Consul General of Sydney were also present to show respect, an indication of the significance of the achievement gained in this closely connected community.
The PhD was conferred on Fr Shenouda, for his thesis titled Investigation of attitudes to identity, culture and language in a Coptic School community.
The NCCA is blessed to be associated with Fr Shenouda in his role as General Secretary of the NSW Ecumenical Council.
May he and the Coptic Church be held in the hands of God.
I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)
Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. (Proverbs 16:3)
