11 June 2018 is the closing date for submissions to the Joint Select Committee on Constitutional Recognition Relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples 2018 in support of the Uluru Statement of the Heart.

Reconciliation Australia encourages us to call on our Parliament to support the Uluru Statement. Submissions can be made on the Parliament website here.

27 May 2017 marked th 50th Anniversary of the landmark 1967 Referendum. An historic convention of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people was held at Uluru to mark the event and the Uluru Statement from the Heart was released, setting out a clear vision to progress constitutional reform, agreement making, and truth telling.
