KAICIID Global Dialogue Forum

Theme: “Transformative Dialogue: Building Alliances for Peace in a Rapidly Changing World”

The KAICIID Global Dialogue Forum took place in Portugal from 14-16 May2024. KAICIID is an intergovernmental organization that brings together religious leaders, policymakers, and experts to discuss and work together on shared problems.

The outcomes of the Global Forum include a comprehensive strategy to address global peace and social cohesion issues, the creation of action plans to prioritise dialogue for inclusive development, and the development of joint programs aimed at strengthening the implementation of dialogue initiatives where they are most needed.

His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew gave a keynote address at one of the sessions. The session explored how religious and faith communities can address challenges like climate change and biodiversity loss through sacred values, discussing how spiritual beliefs and policy actions can promote ecological sustainability.
