Safe Church tip
Q: Are nametags a useful ministry tool or tacky and embarrassing to wear?
Using some’s name is an essential part of making them feel welcomed and included. Nametags help facilitate learning people’s names.
Nametags can also help ministries remain safe. Being able to clearly identify who is a leader, either with a name tag, lanyard or uniform Tshirts, helps prevent inappropriate people gaining access to children and young people. Clear identification of a leader makes it easier for participants and others to raise urgent safety concerns, if required.
