Rev Glenn Loughrey, of the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne participated in the Asia regional webinar, Racism, Xenophobia and Discrimination in the Asian Context. The webinar was facilitated by the World Council of Churches (WCC). Rev Loughrey shares his presentation, White Haze - Racism in Australia with us.
The World Council of Churches has Racism as the 2019 thematic focus of the Pilgrimage Justice and Peace worldwide. Through 2019 a series of regional webinars on racism have been held in order to listen and learn about the different manifestations of racism. The Asia regional webinar, held on Monday 26 August, was the first in this series.
