Celebrating 100 Years of the Greek Orthodox Church in Australia.

NCCA prays for the Archdiocese, Archbishop Makarios, the Bishops and the Greek Orthodox community as they welcome His All-Holiness to Australia to mark this special occasion.

As part of the celebrations, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will be visiting Australia from October 4 to 19 October 2024. 

Patriarch Bartholomew, is known around the world for his peace advocacy.  

His All-Holiness will be visiting Sydney and Melbourne, and a wide range of events have been planned to facilitate his engagement with members of the Greek Orthodox Church and the broader Australian community

While in Sydney, His All-Holiness will participate in:

• Official Welcoming Doxology, 5th October 2024 Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation of our Lady, Sydney
• Patriarchal Divine Liturgy, 6 October 2024 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney

While in Melbourne, His All-Holiness will participate in :

• Patriarchal Divine Liturgy 13th October 2024 Margaret Court Arena (MCA) Melbourne
