The Australian National Dialogue of Christians Muslims and Jews recently held its 46th meeting. Two of the people present commented to each other on the amount of laughter that was taking place! Who would have thought when this dialogue commenced that we could come together and enjoy each other’s company so much!

Respectful listening, speaking sincerely from each of our own traditions, on many topics has led to an ever-increasing understanding of each other and real friendships forming. 

Our most recent topic was inter-faith marriage. As Christians, we know that not all our member churches approach or accept inter-faith marriages, so in the other faiths there are differences in practice. This was a wonderful dialogue. Most importantly once more, we came together as friends.
