World Week for Peace in Palestine and Israel

World Council of Churches (WCC) general secretary Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit, hopes to see people of faith unite in worship services, educational events and acts of support for a just and sustainable peace for both Palestinians and Israelis.

From the 15 - 22 September 2019, including the International Day of Prayer for Peace on 21 September, church organisations, congregations, and people of faith are encouraged to bear a common witness in favour of peace and justice for Israelis and Palestinians.
