Response to Media Release from the Australian Minister for Immigration, Alex Hawke 

In response to the Media Release from the Australian Minister for Immigration, Alex Hawke of 30 August 2021, announcing the establishment of an Advisory Panel on Australia’s Resettlement of Afghan Nationals, NCCA and the Australian Churches Refugee Taskforce (ACRT) have sent a letter of thanks to the Minister for this fast action and for the quality of panel members especially the number of Afghan Australians with lived experience and valuable expertise.
