Raising Peace is organising four, free, faith and peace events in September as part of its festival of online and hybrid events.
“Togetherness - Sharing stories of Peacebuilding in Challenging Times”
Sunday 8 September 3.30-6.00 pm AEST
Organised by the Brahma Kumaris. Six representatives from different faith traditions will speak to this topic, followed by a Q&A. Attendees are invited to share their stories.
This is a hybrid event, on Zoom and in-person at the Brahma Kumaris Centre in Five Dock, Sydney.

Five representatives from different faith traditions will speak and reflections can be shared in breakout rooms. Organised by Religions for Peace Australia.

“Living More With Less – A Nonviolent Alternative To Empire”.
Wednesday 18 September 7.00-8.30 pm AEST
This workshop will focus on alternative nonviolent ways to live and is presented by the AAANZ (Anabaptist Association of Australia and New Zealand) and Wellspring Community.

“Faith, Religion and Peace”
Sunday 22 September 4.00-6.00 pm. AEST
Four representatives from different faith traditions will speak to this topic and touch on the relationship of faith and religion with conflict and war. How can faith help bring peace to the world?
This is a hybrid event, on Zoom and in-person at the Rigpa Buddhist Centre in Newtown, Sydney.
