Receptive Ecumenism Resource

Embracing the Other

This resource has been produced by a team from Churches Together in England. It is a valuable tool for those considering organising a course on Receptive Ecumenism for groups of people from different church traditions.

Churches Together in England (CTE) has very generously made this free for anyone to use and comes with course information for enquirers, facilitators and participants.

The team at CTE have put together a short promotional video by Ruth Bottoms which introduces this course for enquirers and a further introductory video by Callan Slipper, with two reasons why you might consider doing the course.

Embracing the Other is available free to download, along with these videos and further information on the Churches Together in England website

Watch: Churches sing 'The Blessing' over the UK

The Priestly Blessing

The LORD said to Moses,

“Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them:

“‘“The LORD bless you

    and keep you;

the LORD make his face shine on you

    and be gracious to you;

the LORD turn his face toward you

    and give you peace.”’
