Developing cultural understanding and capability is a required part of Australia’s curriculum and increasingly recognised as an important competence for all of us to develop. Our new JCMA professional learning workshops for teachers helps teachers gain an understanding for themselves of diversity, stereotyping and unconscious bias and how it affects what happens in the classroom. Come along and learn about some of the research guiding the development of our programs and experience some of the workshop activities developed for use in the classrooms.

Affinity Intercultural Foundation would like to invite you to attend an A+ Youth Lecture with Madeleine Goodsir.
The A+ Youth Lecture Series aims to tackle issues that are important to young people. Each session features an inspiring young speaker who will speak on issues that are important to them.
This session will feature Madeleine Goodsir, President of Notre Dame Sydney Law Society, who will be presenting a talk titled:“The Power of Silence in Creating Social Change”
