During the past week, I enjoyed the privilege of participating in the Asia Mission Conference organized by the Christian Conference of Asia. Between 400 and 600 people attended the five-day conference which included a celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Christian Conference of Asia.

Christmas is the time that we celebrate God’s gift to us, the arrival of His son Jesus. Since 1949 Australian Christians have worked together through the Christmas Bowl to respond to Christ’s call to feed the hungry, heal the sick and welcome the stranger.

Accessing the internet in modern Australia is expected, if not required, in order for leaders to run services and ministries. Making internet access freely available on the church property, available to almost anyone, all the time, is convenient but presents risks.
