On Thursday morning 18 October a delegation of six faith leaders met with both the Minister for Immigration David Coleman and the Shadow Minister Shayne Neumann. They spoke to the Ministers of the desperation of the people on Nauru and Manus Island and the work that faith-based groups do with these people.

NCCA President, Bishop Philip Huggins and NCCA Interim General Secretary, Liz Stone will be part of this delegation and will speak with both the Minister for Immigration David Coleman and the Shadow Minister Shayne Neumann.

The NCCA offices were pleased to host a group of Traditional Land Owners on Wednesday 17 October. They had travelled from their lands in the Northern Territory and had just attended the Origin Energy AGM to explain to its shareholders that consent had not been gained from Traditional Land Owners for fracking on their land in the Betaloo Basin.
