Safe Church Tip
Working with Children Checks - Do I need one?
YES - if you are in any leadership position, do any work or volunteering that comes into contact with children. Not only do you need a check, it needs to be current and valid.
Safe Church Program
Working with Children and Working with Vulnerable People Checks
These checks are vital for all involved in ministry to children and the vulnerable. Each state and territory has different requirements and expectations relating to who requires one. These requirements and expectations change, so it is important to ensure that you are aware of the requirements for your church community.
Safe Church Program
It is vital to have a Code of Conduct signed by all your staff, volunteers, leaders, Ministers, Priests, and anyone involved within your church to ensure that all involved representing your church understand acceptable and unacceptable behaviour.
