The Australian Catholic Bishops’ Social Justice Statement for 2019 – 2020 affirms the positive possibilities for encounter and solidarity offered by new digital media, while warning of those elements of our digital world that may be harmful.
The 2019–2020 Statement can now be ordered from the Australian Catholic Social Justice Council (ACSJC).
Fathering across Cultures
Guide for Engaging New and Expectant Fathers from Migrant and Refugee Backgrounds
This new resource website, developed by the Migration Council Australia in collaboration with the Australian Government, has now been launched.
Representatives of Christian churches are urging Christians to celebrate September as the “Season of Creation” in an effort to raise awareness about climate change.
1 September was proclaimed a Day of Prayer for Creation by the Orthodox in 1989 and repeated by Pope Francis in 2015.
ARRCC organisers are excited to offer this rare opportunity for people of faith to be empowered to respond effectively to the climate crisis.

The 9th biennial Safer Churches Conference will be the first conference held by the National Council of Churches in Australia (NCCA) Safe Church Program since the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse recommendations were released in December 2017.
The theme for the conference will provide the framework across the two-day event.
