The Australian Churches Refugee Taskforce (ACRT) met recently to discuss concerns from various refugee advocates, organisations, and churches on the impact the 'Deportation' Bill will have on asylum seekers and any future visa applicants, if it becomes law.

NCCA's Ecumenical Theologians meet in Melbourne

The Faith and Unity Commission (the Commission) hosted their bi-annual meeting in Melbourne on 2 and 3 April 2024 where themes of faith, mission and unity were part of the discussions.

Letter to Australian Government

Earlier this year, NCCA's Australian Churches Ecological Taskforce (ACET) wrote to the Australian Government urging them to create policies to reduce greenhouse gas while protecting human rights. The request targets the production of solar panels and proposes that Government support local production.
